This program was written because I was very dissatisfied with the software delivered with my TV-card (Boeder TV-FM video capture card). The display-quality was horribly bad in full-screen mode and the channel configuration mode is very complicated. So I began searching for an alternative TV-program and found among others MoreTV (to find a download just search for MoreTV in Google).There were only 2 disadvantages:
I couldn't use the remote control any more.
Audio only worked when I started the radio program before I started MoreTV.
These problems are solved with rc remote control! The program is freeware. Download here
You will get a zip-file with the executable file (rc.exe) and a help file. Unzip it to the same directory, where the delivered TV-application runs. I recommend a shortcut in the autostart group, so your remote control will be activated at system startup. Details about the configuration can be found in the supplied help-file.
NEW: Support for Windows XP:
In the new release from Aug. 4th, 2003 support is added for Windows XP. Thanks to Mircea Negreanu who gave me the tip for fixing the main problem and motivated me to finally adjust and test the program for Windows XP.
You can find the drivers that are working on XP at Provideo,the manufacturer of the card.

You also need some dll-files from the new TV-App program, which you can download at http://www.provideo.com.tw/driver/PV-951T/AP/PV-951App_V2.53.exe
The name of the needed dll-files are Sndctl.dll, pv878utl.dll and wdmI2cDll.dll. Copy those files into the same directory as rc.exe (or move rc.exe to the location of the files, whatever you prefer)
rc remote control is Freeware and may be distributed freely. This hint may not be removed for distribution. rc remote control may only be distributed without any charge.
